They are bred specifically for instinct. The father is pure Pyrenees and both mothers are mostly Pyrenees with sone other strong LGD breeds in the mix. Definitely Anatolian and probably some Akbash in the younger bigger mother.
One mother is the other's daughter. Male is NOT related to either female.
These puppies are going to look and act Pyrenees except they will either not drool or will drool less than true Pyrenees will.
The mother's especially have extremely strong guard instinct. The person before me had bred my first to be more prone to kill coyotes than standard Pyrenees while retaining the human friendly nature.
I have continued that. My male matured late as a guard but he is over a year now (December he turned 1) and he sticks very near the momma goats with kids now.
Puppies are in contact with my current bottle baby goat daily and are in the same yard as my ducks and extra roosters.
They will come chipped, wormed and with their first shots though I haven't done that at the date of this posting.
Litters were on 1-4 and 1-8.
I am sending them off with raw goat milk. It and direct attention earlier greatly increase physical and mental development. Some friends took theirs at 6 weeks with milk and their pups are the biggest by a good but and already well started on training.
These pups are going to be beginner friendly and I enjoy teaching people about LGD. If you want to get to know the pups and myself better, please check my facebook. Herman's Hens and Produce.
